ECF to FIDE conversion formula To convert your ECF graded to FIDE ELO, use the following conversion 7.5*ECF+700 = FIDE

Entry Fees ECF Gold and Platinum Members £30.00 ECF Silver, Bronze Members and Non ECF Members £40.00


Entries after Sunday 8th December will be liable to a late entry surcharge of £5.00. AFTER Thursday 11th December, THE LATE ENTRY SURCHARGE IS £10.00. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entries.

Rate of Play Each player will have 60 mins plus a 30 second increment per move from move 1.

Pairings Absent players will be defaulted after 30 minutes. Computer Pairings will be used for all tournaments.



Refunds Refunds will be given up to the Friday before the event, less a £5 administration charge.



Conditions

The organisers reserve the right to: • Transfer entrants between events • Withhold prizes from ungraded players if they play in events below their known strength • Redistribute in whole or in part a prize won by a competitor who has won or shared a prize • Take any other measures deemed necessary to ensure the smooth running of the congress



Rating/Grading The November FIDE Rating will be used to determine a player’s FIDE rating. For players who do not appear on the November FIDE Rating list, we will use the December FIDE Rating list if a player appears on that list. If a player does not have a FIDE Rating, we will use the ECF grading list. Standard ratings/gradings take precedence over Rapid and Blitz ratings/gradings.


Grading Information – It is a condition of entry that players agree to their grading information.
