World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen tops the field for the Skilling Open, the 1st event on the $1.5 million Online Champions Chess Tour. The 16-player field will be cut to 8 players in a single round-robin on the first 3 days, before the remaining participants play a 6-day knockout. The prize fund is $100,000, with a $30,000 top prize. All games are played online on the chess24 Playzone. The time control is 15 minutes for all moves, with a 10-second increment from move 1.
