Membersof Bolton Chess Club met with Elaine Higgin, widow of Malcom Higgin, a longserving chess player in Bolton. Elaine has donated Malcolm’s extensive collection of chess books and magazines to Bolton Chess Club. These are now housed at Bolton Chess Club in the Malcolm Higgin Memorial Library.
