Time Control The FIDE Chess.com Grand Swiss is an 11-round Swiss tournament taking place from 27 October to 7 November 2021 in Riga, Latvia. The two top finishers qualify for the 2022 FIDE Candidates Tournament. Players receive 100 minutes for 40 moves, then 50 minutes for 20 moves, then 15 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move one.
